Dr Hannah Davies gave a presentation on how computational approaches can help to understand how aortic medial amyloid could be involved in aneurysm development on 18th January 2019, at 4th N8 Biophysical and Biochemical Symposium on Computational and Experimental Methods in Biology
at the University of Sheffield.
Dr Hannah Davies presented our BHF-funded research investigating amyloid in thoracic aortic aneurysms at the Northern Vascular Biology Forum University of Bradford. This meeting was held on 10th December 2019.
We were pleased to attend the launch of the Liverpool Centre for Cardiovascular Science (LCCS). Former Liverpool Football Club manager Gérard Houllier came to Liverpool to help launch the new collaborative research initiative to improve the heart health of the Liverpool City Region. The LABB group is excited about potential opportunities that will arise through LCCS and the difference that we can make to cardiovascular science through this new initiative.
You can learn more about LCCS by visiting their website:

Our group presented two posters at BioMedEng18 held at Imperial College
We are pleased to be hosting Dr Phornphop Naiyanetr (Mahidol University, Thailand) at the LABB group.
